Message From the Coach
Welcome to another exciting football season here at Norco (or Roosevelt this year). Due to the much needed construction at Norco you are seated at Roosevelt‘s beautiful stadium at all home games this year. The players and coaches would appreciate an at home feel with your always supportive yells and cheers. Again, Faith…Integrity…Self-respect…and…Team (F.I.S.T.) will be our driving force this challenging year, but as always we will never let our standards of achievement waiver.
The 2007 season proved to be an exciting and eventful year ending in a disappointing and embarrassing second round loss to a good Redlands East Valley squad. We are anticipating this year to be another successful season that we have all come to expect, with many returning players and many new players willing to accept the challenge to carry on the traditions of Norco Football.
Finally, I would like to recognize the small group of hard working booster club parents for their continual support and amazing hard work. Also, thank you to the local businesses, parents, students, and the extended cougar family for their support. Without their support this team and this school would not be what it is today…”Champions”… that we all can be proud of………both on and off the field.
We all need to remember who we are, as the small town of Norco experiences its growing pains.
