Message From the Principal

The half-back cuts to the left, evades two linebackers and sprints up the left sidelines for a touchdown.  Now that’s Norco football!  Cougar Football remains an institution and brings to our campus a strong contingent of hardworking, dedicated and committed football players.  This year we step into a new challenge as we compete in the “Big VIII” league. Some might consider this the most competitive league in all of Southern California.  It will help make us stronger to play the very best week after week.  Our parents and community can be very proud of our leadership under the direction of head football coach Todd Gerhart and his staff.

Our young men maintain high standards on and off the field.  They are expected to be excellent role models in our community and at school.  We take pride in their accomplishments, as many end up with scholarships going to Division 1 schools.  We know that these student athletes will compete to the best of their ability not only on the football field but in the classroom as well.

A thank-you to the administrative and athletic staff at Eleanor Roosevelt High School and Norco Intermediate School for letting us use their facilities while our new stadium is being built. To those that have been involved and will continue to dedicate themselves to Cougar football, a very special thank-you.  A key element to any successful program is the support of its school and community fan base. At Norco we are blessed with a large number of parents, students, staff, and community members who will continue to fill our stands in support of our players and team.  As you read the ads, please continue to support these businesses that maintain all of our academic /athletic programs.  The result, like always, will be a run at another league and CIF Championship.
